OMG this statement is correct “ A safety chain connected to their 30ft camper was the only thing keeping them from falling.” The 2 silver chains on the right are the trailer’s and only the upper one is still connected under the gold chains from the truck that was first on the scene.

I wonder what happened to the equalizer bars and the sway friction bar???

Better lucky than good sometimes!
But this is like saying wear underwear in case you sh__ yourself. Yes the underwear may get you out of jail “free” if you have an accident, but that’s not it’s purpose.

Witness says they started to swerve...
From the pictures it looks like they had a luggage rack on the back of the trailer making it lighter on the front end. It could have been the tail wagging the dog scenario.

This is very hard to believe, Some one was looking out for them that day. Speedy recovery to the couple.
