During our first year with our fifth wheel, a string broke on our large rear window's pleated shade. It was under warranty, so we took it to the dealer for repair. Well, they will just replace it and they had our rig for over 2 months for it.
We have since had several more break, so I watched YouTube videos, bought a repair kit from the dealer and fixed them myself. Once you understand how they work, it's pretty easy. Like someone above said, you get to be a pro at it.

Thanks everyone. I watched the videos and ordered the blind repair kit from Amazon. Guess I'll continue to travel with the blinds up if they are easy to repair.

We travel with the rear window and the passenger side window up so that we can see. Other one varies and it tends to drop in transit.
I need to replace a lot of the strings when I get the courage.
