I occasionally like to mention movies I've found worthy of consideration. I'd like to mention one I watched recently on You Tube.
The title is "Miracle in the woods." If you find the time, I'm sure you'll find it worth watching. I won't go into details, but the plot will hold your attention. It may even bring tears at times.

Thank you for the recommendation- just finished watching it. Very touching story, we need more movies like that instead of the filth that comes out of hollywood. BTW- it is also available on amazon prime.

Another good movie if you get the chance is "Mr. Church." It stars Eddy Murphy in a role that you would not expect from him.

I saw it on amazon prime as well.

Try “Seaspiracy”, I found it on Netflix. It will open your eyes on illegal fishing and the effects on our planet.

Let me suggest another "must see" movie. Again, on You Tube, "The Ron Clark Story" (based on a true story). Watch to the very end!

Just read that Ned Beatty passed away today...
...happened to re-watch "Rudy" yesterday. I tend to like fact based or movies based on true stories.

Beatty played the father in that movie.

A lot of very insightful, meaningful, work comes out of Hollywood. The talent and skills that fill that city is crazy. Hollywood creates promotes and encourages a vast universe of thought and fantasy.
Sure some stuff produced is less than stellar, but overall is a major plus to our culture.

I just re-watched "Emperor" yesterday. It's based on facts regarding America's attempts to rebuild post WW2 Japan. It's free on You Tube and highly recommended. [emoticon]

glad you’re enjoying the movies as much as I have, Barney. If I come across any more, I’ll post them here.
BTW, did you watch one I posted earlier, one of my favorites, “Sign of the Beaver”? A great adventure story taking place in early American history. It will hold your attention.
It’s also free on You Tube.

Here’s another top notch movie, though many of you may have seen it: “Of Mice and Men.” Also free on You Tube. Great acting and very touching, though sad ending.
