Just purchased the 22” Blackstone Griddle. Curious how folks are transporting in 5th Wh. I’m thinking about keeping in original box but that would require the removal of the rubber feet. Also don’t want griddle surface bouncing all over the place and damaging the burners and housing. Just curious for ideas is all. Thanks in advance

If you have the model without the hood this works well.

I just took my 17” on it’s first weekend. Transported it in the basement with the griddle plate flipped in the shipping position. Seemed to ride fine. I do have the bag like shown above on order. It comes with a cover for the griddle and the storage bag.

I do the same the the 17 inch. No bag, I put a strap around it to keep it together and usally keep the scraper/ water bottle on the inside of it. After a year or so its fine.

My 22" came with that cover ,and it seems to ride well in the fifth wheel.

I have the 22" and keep it in the outdoor kitchen of our travel trailer. It slides under the cabinet in a way that keeps it from bouncing around and it has worked perfectly so far.

I keep it in one of the storage compartments with hood attached, no cover. All I do is set up my folding table next to the compartment and lift it out less than 3 feet to the table. Easy and no fuss.
We love the Blackstone and use it more than the Weber.

I've put it in the outdoor kitchen, its the perfect size for my counter there. I've also put it in the bed of the truck. Its pretty solid and hasn't had any adverse reactions to 2 years worth of camping with it.

I have a 22" with a hood. I keep it in a bag in the storage area.
I prefer to keep it in a bag in an effort not to attract critters, while it is being stored.
