I had my truck towed once due to a driveshaft bearing failure. The driver told me that 10 miles to the Ford dealer was acceptable even though he drove past 4 other shops that could do it. Maybe I got a break because I am local and live in a small town. His total trip from HIS lot to my house, the Ford dealer and back to his place was 19 miles.
