Not one peep from anyone about the CWS..... I thought for sure there would be some conversation about it. With the wide range of teams from different areas areas and conferences nobody was cheering on their team. It was a good series and it shows once again that the SEC dominates....

Watched a few games, but for some reason the timing of the games didn't work for us when we were around the TV ... We've usually watched more of it in past seasons. That CWS series and the LL World Series is even more fun - watching the kids. [emoticon]

I watched several games some via DVR recording. Very enjoyable. Hated to see what happened to NC team, but in the end the best team left won.

Speaking of the College World Series.

When I was a boy
(Song has nothing to do with this but hey I know the author (Frank Hayes) and have likely heard the performer live and the title fits)

When I was a boy there was a Show. The GE College Bowl
They had two different colleges send teams of students and they ask questions.. Right answers got you points and a chance to answer a bonus question (At least in the first round or two)

Well the show is now Reborn under a different sponsor. I watched it this week.. Same format. Different hosts. Not quite as "Formal" as it was when I was a boy but still good.

This last show they ask questions most of which I found either easy to answer (I knew those) or impossible A few of the teams gave wrong answers too.

Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios
