BTW, if you don't get to Wall Drug, it's no big deal. Definitely a "1 star" attraction in our book

Remember, opinions vary. You make the call.

I agree, but it’s one of those places you have to go to just to say “I’ve been there!”

Was 10 bucks in 2015 when I was there. Didn't bother me a bit.

We have a night at Cedar Pass Campground (in the Bad Lands Nat'l Park) before heading to a KOA at The Devils tower for another night, then off to Custer State Park, Blue Bell for 2 nights then Sylvan Lake for another night. From there we head to Spearfish Campground for 6 days of reunion-ing, various tours and food.
What are the must sees and does in these areas? Never been there and it's all new to us. 26" class C with no toad, but will have 2 e-bikes, so parking, tunnels, etc are considerations.
Thanks.

We stayed in a cabin in Badlands...the drives and the scenery are beautiful! There is a restaurant in the park and they had a delicious dessert called Kuchen. One day we drove to Wall's Drug nearby...that was fun. We have also stayed at the KOA at Devil's Tower...loved it...you are literally at the entrance to the Tower. Look for "prairie dog town" on the drive. And right across the road from the KOA is a neat general store.

Kuchen is 'cake' in German. They often have Kuchen und Coffee in the morning.

We have stayed at the Devils Tower KOA twice the last time they jacked the price up to $70/night and that was just about the last KOA we stayed at. I see they have added 'Holiday' to their names now and the minimum price is $55/night.

You beat me to it.

Kuchen can be so many things: Schokokuchen, Apfelkuchen, Schwartzwaldkuchen...

Oder einfach Kuchen Kuchen.

I don't think I've had one I didn't like.

OK. Another opinion, please. My favorite coffee mug broke the handle off. It was from Luckenbach Texas. Should I get one from Wall Drug or from Deadwood? Badlands Nat'l park?

Epoxy first.I JB Welded the handle back on my Ayn Rand mug and it went of for years before suffering a more fatal accident.
Never been to Deadwood since we regard gambling as an IQ test, but Wall drug has scores of different mugs.

Wall Drug is touristy at first glance. The experienced and knowledgeble see so much more, there are original artworks by Frederic Remington, Charley Russell, Photos by John C Fremont, above eye level.
A 5 cent cup of coffee and a walk about if you look up above the trinkets makes Wall Drug well worthwhile.

Thanks all. I did gorilla glue my handle back on the cup, but it is also chipping badly and I found out that our rally tour will include Wall Drug, so I won't be making any extra trip for a coffee cup.
thanks for all the great info. Much appreciated.
