That is what we call them in the backwoods of Florida , TARS . I just bought 4 new tars , was not a whole lot wrong with the old ones except . Last week I went out to check the air pressure and the two tars on the sunny side , both had OK pressure but you could spin the tire stems round and round . Never heard of that before , they were 5 year old Goodyear with 18 K miles . I figgered if I gotta dismount em I might as well put new shoes on . Man at Discount Tar in Tally said he had never seen that before .

Far wood on cold nites , on REALLY cold nites we burn Tars . Sometimes it will get down into 40 degrees .
