Wow, and I thought I was doing good to get 40-50k miles out of a set of brakes.

I've put a lot of HWY miles on this truck and live in a very rural area.

Me too. I hear people talking about 20-30k, so I thought I was doing good.

I buy my tires from a friend up in Salt Lake. I was having new tires put on and asked him if I could go out and check my brakes while they had the wheels off.

He asked how many miles were on the truck and I told him 80,000. He smiled and said, "they never wear out", smiled and walked away.

Looks like he was right.

I wish the brochures had more pictures of the inside of that 1120.

I did see one picture of a huge drawer where the oven goes if you didn't want the oven. I wish who ever ordered my camper new would have gone the no oven route.

I could probably fit another 50 lbs of junk in there. [emoticon]

I’m glad we have options to get what we want. Too bad, you still aren’t posting pictures correctly though specta. [emoticon]

Seriously though, your images only view if I turn my VPN off. I don’t know what your host did to get blacklisted by NordVPN.

You have been the only one with issues viewing those pictures, so your VPN service is most likely to blame rather than his hosting.I run a heavily filtered connection and can still see Spectra's photos without turning down any security.

I was very specific and noted it was related to NordVPN. Too bad, that you missed it. I have no idea what filtering you are doing, but obviously not as filtered as mine. [emoticon]

For those keeping score, NordVPN is not an unpopular VPN service. It’s actually one fo the top rated services.

I had another member tell me that he couldn't see my pictures either.

He turned off his ad blocker and them he could see them.

Sometimes Postimages links an ad to the end of the ulr of the link to the picture. I always delete it.

Maybe that's why some software blocks the images.

This spring I did a 540 mile trip here in Idaho with the cruise set at 70 on my 2012 GMC 6.0 gasser and averaged a surprising 10.5 round trip. I really thought going that fast with the high RPM would kill my mileage, but it was similar to what I was getting at 55 in Alaska.

Youse guys with the spark ignition engines wanna see something cool?

Run the truck down to almost fumes. Fill tank with 91 or 93 or 95 - highest octane you can...

or

E85 if you are flex fuel and can get it.

They seem to like 2500 rpm. I'm quite happy with the 10+ mpg.

Your truck will look good with those tires and wheels on it. They will be my choice in a while after I see how my Michelins do.
