Since TL magazine is no more, I'm not a fan of the new RV mag and it seems that there isn't as much traffic on here. Does the new mag have a forum and if so, is it killing the TL forum? Have been a TL subscriber since early 2000's, but really considering letting sub expire.

I'm not so concerned about the number of posts as long as I get good information. I have gotten good answers to my last few questions, and I am happy with that. As to responding to other's posts, I try to comment only when I have something useful to say. (But I can't seem to resist making a 'cute' comment once in a while.)

RV magazine seems to be aimed mostly at those new to rving.

Those new to RVing spend the money...sometimes wisely.

Just received the latest issue of RV mag, nowhere near as interesting as TL, so many ads and articles geared at selling over-priced products. Used to spend an hour or two reading through TL, this recent incarnation rarely has my attention for more than 10 minutes before going into the recycle bin. Enjoy the forum and will continue to be a goodsam member, no way are we paying for the RV mag once our subscription expires in the fall.

I use to read TL and Motorhome for free at the grocery and book stores and sometimes at a library plus online. Would buy the issue if wanted to save the story.

I loved Trailer Life, but RV is a big disappointment. At first I thought it was starting simple for a lot of newbies since RV sales were through the roof. As each issue has progressed, it is nothing but a big flop. They need to rehire all the old staff and publish a real RV magazine again. I will let my subscription run out as well.

I want my old Trailer LIfe magazine back also. I can not find anything useful in the new magazine and will not be renewing my subscription.

I had let my membership lapse for over year not knowing if I would continue to RV or not and I recall getting about 4 to 6 magazines either TL or motorhome a year…..guess that is not part of the membership any longer as I was not given a choice as to which one I preferred….

I am a GS Charter Life Member. Once upon a time we used to get quarterly targeted newsletters. And the GS magazine. Now??? Nothing. Only buy insurance ads in the mail. Sad how poorly GS is treating their members now.
