Has anyone used an extended run gas tank for two Honda 2000's. Going to be dry camping on military campground in key west this coming winter for 6 weeks. Any suggestions would be helpful. Ease of use etc.

Hi,
Although it wont run the roof air, I'd suggest adding a modest solar panel system. It will give you some relief from the noise of the generators--and fuel cost savings will pay for the solar add on.
Oil changes are recommended every 100 hours of run time.
Regards, Don
My ride is a 28 foot Class C, 256 watts solar, 556 amp-hours of Telcom jars, 3000 watt Magnum hybrid inverter, Sola Basic Autoformer, Microair Easy Start.

Already have solar but not able to run AC from it. Just ordered set up from a guy in Oregon. As a single woman camper hope is easy to set up!

C.B. that's what I am looking to do. Have camped down there before and it's a pain to continually go to gas station and refill the generators. Hopefully only have to fill extended tank.

NamMedvac70,
Honda's have a fuel pump--most others are a gravity feed.

My 5 gal extended run tank works great but I only have 1 Honda 2000. I have used the tank 3 times when my house lost power.

One Honda will run a modified AC unit.
Two Honda's will run one AC, or two modified AC's.
