Try this... Cycle the switch UP/DOWN UP/DOWN like 100 times while it is NOT connected. then re-connect and try again.
If it does not work, well at least it was FREE
if it does work consider
"Should I buy lotto tickets cause when you hot, you hot"
or
"Should I NOT buy lotto tickets because i used up my quota of LUCK for the month"
Worked for me, in Las Vegas, different switch and I did fairly well that week, Did not win big but did not lose either.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios
Kenwood TS-2000, ICOM ID-5100, ID-51A+2, ID-880 REF030C most times

Switch should be a momentary on/off/on double pole-double throw. It needs to reverse the DC to the blind.

I put in new switch and it still won’t work it just winds the blind up tight won’t bring it down I am it a lose!
Now the wife just tell me the other blind only goes 1/2 way bown don’t know

The center pins should go to the blind. Power should go to ends of switch and be criss-crossed to other end pins reverse blind motor.
