We were headed up to Estes Park from southern Colorado when this idiot crosses 4 lanes then comes to dead stop right in front of me. Needless to say it was a "Code Brown" moment. Luckily we missed the fool - and I don't know how but we did. The dashcam caught it all.

Good alertness and maneuvering on your part.

When folks ask why you need a dash cam here's a good example. Otherwise without one, "you rear ended him", "you should have anticipated" ya da ya da.

It's usually a mad dash at the top of that hill when everybody decides which way they want to go and they do it intentionally at the last second.

I do think we should demand tighter controls on who gets and keeps a drivers license.

I don't know how many times that happened to me while driving my 18,000 propane/gas bomb on wheels (37' motorhome with 135 gallons of gas and 50 gallons of propane).

I am not one to swerve. I would have probably totaled that vehicle. May have scratched my front winch a bit.
Although I do stop better since putting disks on the trailer.
Safe travels to all.
