Hi S Davis,

for 3000 watts and up it may be a better route to go to a 24 or 48 volt battery bank. It would almost certainly be cheaper, just as a side benefit.

Yeah, the amperages at 12v get pretty insane. Like I always say "wire handles voltage much easier than amperage."
