Yup, unending commercials :::
Baseball Playoffs are continuously breaking in with Online Gambling site Ads now - Blew me away - Online sites during a game where you gamble on baseball, and hits, and runs, HRs, and over and under totals. Where is Pete Rose when we need his advice??
Oh right, good old Pete got banned for gambling on baseball ...

I've never noticed them ending. they just start on next year's rounds.
I may have ended one however. They called, my cell phone. since they are selling medicare they clearly know I'm a senior. and last but not least on the DO NOT CALL list... How many ways can I bill them $500.00 for the unsolicited call?
That was the question I ask them, in a letter.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

With commercials you can always change the channel. It's the endless supply of the Medicare plan junk mail that really irritates me.

Change the channel? And get more commercials?? Seems we now get a break between commercials and see a brief piece of a show nowadays.
We watch less and less TV, and never did watch a lot. Now only a few sports or one or two shows. Rest of the time - classic jazz, soft rock, or blues fill the room.
Can't beat that ...

We get quite a few US channels, and often they just leave the US commercials in. I've noticed all these Medicare ads. Maybe someone can explain why they advertise it as I thought it was a government programme, like Universal Healthcare for old folks. Why advertise?
Sometimes I sit and think deep thoughts. other times, I just sit!

Because they are not the real Medicare. It's a shame Joe Namath has to stoop that low.

When cable companies where asking for permission to run wires on the public right-o-way, one of the things they promised was TV without commercials.
Most of the time I listen to listener supported radio.

Anybody from a developed part of the world would have a hard time understanding anything about US "health care" system.
Most of the ads are to sell insurance to cover what Medicare does not

Watch PBS…a lot fewer commercials (they call them underwriter spots).
