I have a 2018 cruiser aire. It has a 1/2 inch plex pipe out the bottom to drain fresh water tank. It takes several hours to drain the tank. Would like to sanitize my water system but drains so slow. My motorhome would dump 100 gals in 3 minutes but had much larger slide vale as a dump. Am I doing something wrong to have to wait several hours to drain??

Open the gravity fill cap and see if that helps.

Run the pump, open the faucets and go out the gray tank.

I agree…run the pump. With a bucket in the kitchen sink and a three pound coffee can in the bathroom it’ll drain quickly.

I take the adapter pipe fitting out of the tank. That increases the opening. Originally had debris from factory drilling the tank lodged in opening.

This has the cold weather package which stops all access to the tanks. Also there is no gravity fill just a hose connection. Thanks for ideas. Best may be run thru get. 60gal tank

IMO, you probably have trash in the line. I have nearly 60 gal fresh, with the 1/2" drain line, and it takes about 30 minutes to dump a full tank. I wish it had a 1.25" line like my old Komfort did.

I have the 100G fresh and it does tale a long time to drain as mentioned it has a 1/2" pex but I guarantee the 1/4 turn valve has an even smaller opening.
No biggie to me as I simply open the valve and when it's done draining I close it. There is a vent hole on my Andersen valve assembly like most any other RV that allows plenty of air into the tank for draining.

For draining the freshwater tank, I just open the gravity fill and the small dump line and let it drain overnight.

I agree, probably restriction in the line, not a rare situation , builders leave garbage in tanks quite a bit. I would try blowing air into the drain, then see if it makes a difference, even for a bit, next time. You could call builder and find proper procedure to gain access.
