No doubt , they got the job done . And chained all four, I had my old Ford trucks in a lot places hunting .

I've only ever had chains on the rear. My 79 F-250 had a Detroit Locker in the rear and a Ford Trac-Lok.

Not real sure I'll get chains for this one. Only time will tell. [emoticon]

I owned a 68,70, and 72 Ford 3/4 ton's , ran the old 7.50 -16's on them .I bought a set called Armstrong Trutrac if I remember on white spoke rims ,thought they were pretty up town [emoticon]
I believe they were a little bigger in width . I am thinking that was the early 80's .

Amsoil costs an arm and a leg here plus shipping.

My friend that I bought the truck from is converting his Jeep over to Amsoil so when he ordered his I had him get me their engine flush for the second oil change.

That's my friend on our left, he's on Brad Lovell's pit crew.
Not soo sure why he's likes Amsoil. [emoticon]

I will do some looking for some oil zinc in it - probably Valvoline.

OMG Spectra!
I bet 12V get a little chub over being connected to a real life Amz oil celebrity!
How many times has he PMd you for Brads autograph since you posted this?? Lol

I bet that's Moab, or down south there somewhere. Spent a bit of time down there tearing up my old trucks, been years since I have had a truck down there .

Yep, Moab. That's called Double Whammy.

That was years ago and the "jeep" people hated full size trucks.

Stock size bias ply tires, no lift - you can see they weren't very happy that I made it up.

The two Jeeps out of several that tried got standing ovations. But then I guess it was quite a feat for them. [emoticon]

Here's another picture of my friend Geof with Brad Lovell. Geof is on the left end. The rest of the gentlemen were Ford engineers. This was at Geof's house just down the road from me.

This picture was taken August 2020. Those three Broncos were three years old when this picture was taken .

Don’t remember all the hills , and rocks we climbed down there . Back in those day that’s what you saw was mostly jeeps and trucks , no ATV’s . Now , still some jeeps and trucks , but mostly ATV’s . I’ve been places with one of my sons in his Can-Am I would never dream of in my trucks back then .

The front yoke on the front driveline had a chip in it.
You could spin the u-joint cap with your finger.
It goes into the shop to get rebuilt today.

I'm thinking it was pat due for a new air filter.
I have no idea how this truck ran.
Yes I do, crappy.

The local parts stores have little to nothing for my truck.
The new air filter came from Amazon.
I had to order a new fuel filter, PCV valve, spark plug wires and a lot of other stuff.
I have to order upper and lower radiator hoses too.

I guess that's the way it is for this older stuff.
