It looks great. It will be interesting to see how it looks inside after sitting for so long.

I got rid of most of the red yesterday.

The carburetor is a Motorcraft 4300 4-V from a 460 in a 1974 Ford truck.
Its rated at 610 CFM. Should work nicely until I find a suitable replacement.

I am very pleased with my Mercury valve covers.
They appear to be NOS (new old stock).
There are no signs of even having been bolted on to an engine nor signs that they have ever been painted.

2nd most expensive part so far, right behind the new flywheel.
