Just got home from fetching the trailer.

First, holy c*, improvement was dramatic. I could immediately feel the difference.

Install didn't come without any issues tho. We recognized an issue with the truck reporting the left rear brake light wasn't working, and yet all the lights worked. I initially drove away, accepting the issue, but got 20 miles down the road and started smelling something much like rubber burning. I said that's enough and headed back while calling Morryde let them know we were returning. Mechanics were long gone, and it just happened to be head of R&D was still there. Pulled the truck into the R&D bay, which was big enough for the truck and trailer together.

Baffled exercise continue, when he cut the wire to the brake pump, and no more issue. At least we finally had a clue. Reconnected the wire, and everything worked. We don't know what happened or WTH fixed it, but I had him walk me through everything he touched so if it does return, I can back track through the system again. The burning odor came from somewhere else, just happened to be when I was on hyper alert.

120 mile drive home went fine, no other issues. On the way down there, we have a handful of coffee pods come out of the holder, lost two boxes of creamer on top of the cabinet and some other misc movement. Drive home, which had two extra railroad tracks to go over, nothing moved, not even the potted plant that was on the table moved.

Going over railroad tracks, the truck bounced around a bit, but the trailer movement never translated to the truck. One thing that came out of the changing lanes youtube video that caught my attention, when they left and went over the railroad track, they turned to each other and said wow. My wife and I did the exact same thing.

payload from the RV ? Technically perhaps, but in reality you will have more as the components are so much stronger and beefier...

And lets face it, the RV's payload is a number factored primarily from the suspension components and tires.. and frame

Don't lose any payload. Any extra weight is =below= the frame, riding on the tires. Payload =inside= the rig is where frame robustness is key, and we all know how good =that= is(n't). Any extra weight down there, lowers your CG a bit, and should make you more stable in turns and in wind.

Curious what this costs? I had a spring break recently on a trip. It could have been substantially worse, but makes me worry now.

I believe that the 7K IS system is now running AROUND $6500.00 ? I am sure someone who just purchased can correct me.

the cost of NO MORE WORRIES -$ PRICELESS

MY OPINION is that it is worth every penny on a RV that will be around, if your planning on getting rid of it in a couple years, probably not...
$6500 I think that to much can somebody confirm the price ?

If you want the correct price, call MORryde and ask, will be correct vs someone like me trying to remember how much I paid over 6 years ago.
Remember, last I heard they were starting to schedule out into 2023 and todays price may be different than 2023's price.

Sounds pretty steep. I got a quote from them about a year and a half ago, something like $3600. They also did rally specials knocking a few hundred off.
But I guess those days are over...

Are these price quotes with or without disc brakes?
Is $6,500 with disc brakes and $3,600 without disc brakes?
