I was hoping to get 5 years out of my GY G114s, but one blew at 4 1/2 year, lucky it only took the Plastic Fender Skirt.
Now have 2 year old 17.5 .Sailuns and already lost a section of tread on one and it's made in China and before the recall date. So maybe the change was made in China before Vietnam.

The Michelin XPS Ribs is a commercial grade all steel ply carcass LT tire that Michelin recommends for commercial trailer service. The LT XPS Ribs work great on trailers with 6k and smaller axles and are much preferred over the usual poly carcass ST tire.
Michelin replacement policy says;
**it is recommended that any tires in service 10 years or more from the date of manufacture, including spare tires, be replaced with new tires as a simple precaution even if such tires appear serviceable and even if they have not reached the legal wear limit.

I ran a set of RIBs on 5200 axles for 6.5 years and sold them with 65% tread left for 200 bucks on CL and then ran R250 for 4.5 years until I sold that trailer.

I was concerned because I had put on a set of Sailuns this past spring. The Cardinal was in the barn with the slides out so it made it difficult to see much. Yesterday, I read the date code 3320, thinking oh **** but then I saw Made in China so I’m good.

My 6 tires are dated 4319 / Made in China but Walmart where I bought them sent me an email saying

0695965541960 SAILUN S637 TRAILER TIRES"
Date code is easy to find but where can I find the UPC?

On one side of my tires there is a semi-embedded white label with a number and barcode.

Do you mean the white tag at the top of the photo? It doesn't conform to either of the UPC Walmart sent.

Your photo never appeared at all. It may have appeared on your computer but it never showed on mine or, I suspect, anybody else's.
To post a picture on the forums, go to this site, upload your picture to the app, copy the resulting URL and paste into your post without adding anything at all to the URL. No additions and no subtractions. Simply copy and paste it into a post.
Your picture will then appear and be properly sized for use on our forums.
