Salem, yep, I remember "My Friend Flicka" which was on every Saturday morning and remember Peter Graves, I believe, as the father. Never missed anything on Saturday with a horse in it.
Another hint (and then I will tell you if you miss it): Approximately in the last ten to fifteen years, Tom Cruise as the secret agent starred in a box office hit movie entitled the same name as Peter Graves' long-running television series.
