Just upgraded to a 2019 Keystone Bullet and the entry door has a gas strut at the bottom that holds the door open at a 90 angle. That's nice at times but I'm thinking I'm gonna miss the door being open to almost 180. Always like the view and ease of entry in my old TT that did not have the strut feature. Looks like a "c" clip could be popped off the end of the strut to allow full motion. Short of drilling holes to add a door holder, what other options are out there? This is what was on my old 2011 TT Camco 42386

Yes, the gas strut pops off as you mention. I wanted to do the same with my door except the awning support is in the way. The Camco door holder you reference is also available in metal with a clip that doesn't require the bumper.
