We had a cat stolen last week off one of work trucks. It was off a F250 and that thing has 2 cats on it.
It was going to cost $3200 Cnd plus install. So we just straight piped it. So we will have to live with the check engine light being on.

Some places have inspections that you have to pass. (None in my area though) I think some of the newer vehicles will go into "Limp Home Mode" if you did that and then not run very good.
