Is RV overnight parking still allowed at the Desert Diamond Casino and Hotel in Tucson? This is the one by the airport on S. Nogales Highway in Tucson.

IT wad allowed in years past, but we haven't been back for a while due to Covid. I hear stories say yes it is followed by others who say no it isn't. There is no mention (that I could find) on the web site. I suspicion calling is unlikely to get an accurate answer.

Casino Camper website says it is.

I have found that calling always gets the correct answer when in doubt

Still closed. No RVs or Trucks. When I called I was told overnight stays are not allowed at this time but may return in the future. Interesting they used the term MAY. When I drove by last week there were not any vehicles in the old camping area. Will be driving by today and will update.

The last I heard, they do allow RV parking for Casino and Hotel guest and patrons, but they do not allow RV overnight camping. If you play at the casino, eat at the restaurants, drink at the bar and do regulars visitor things, they could care less if you come by car or RV. What they don't want is their parking lot turning into a free campsite for non guest/patrons. By extension, they don't want their parking lot becoming a campground by guest who overstay.

I have to back up a bit. There is Desert Diamond Casino and Hotel, Tucson and Desert Diamond Casino, Sahuarita. Both use to let you stay but that was not true after early 2020. The Tucson location is on Nogales Road and the Sahuarita location is on I19. You will be advise to call as the last I talk to them they were not allowing RV as they did not have 24hr security of the parking lots where the RVs parked. When I drove past the I19 Sahuarita location today there was not RVs at that location. Again you can call them at 800-639-8783. The I19 location does not have a Hotel or rooms but use to let you stay b4 the last two years.
