So, I suppose we should not speak of anything coal or petroleum related? Nothing made of plastics or wood? Cut out anything from a farm? LOL.

I don't like ANY Federal subsidies!!! That is NOT the role of the Federal Guvment per the Constitution. But hey it's a living breathing document.

More the merrier. All are welcome. Everything is limitless. I enjoy cherry picking what to see and read. Joy to the world.

There is no such thing as the free market. All markets are manipulated.
Just look at the stock market as an example. The sheep are sheared there every day. But then we digress. The op called for a forum to be established for alternative propulsion.

No subsidies would make production of oil from sum US sources too expensive at the current fuel prices.

I really hope they seriously consider a separate place for EV. Even a conversation about just that topic ends up derailed.

The pandemic relief and stimulus checks provided to millions of individuals and large and small business is a gov't subsidy along with bailout money for banks and airlines auto manufacturers and also Veterans and social security disability compensation are all subsidies to keep people and the economy going. Almost everything and everyone receives benefits of some form of gov't subsidy for benefit of almost all.

Cheers from a 100 per cent disabled vet due to combat wounds in Nam and Agent Orange in 1970.
