Population now is 8,000 million (aka 8 billion). If I was able to start from scratch and place one million persons (with all their houses, cars, RV, etc) in a location....at the rate of one million per second...it would take me more than 2 hours. 8,000 seconds = 133 minutes.
Try counting to 8,000... and picturing the above. Are you worried ?

Not worried.
Not all of them want to go boondocking. So as long as I have plenty of room to camp with no neighbors, I have more pressing things to worry about.

To give the world population density a little perspective, U.S. Federal prison cells are typically 6’ x 8' = 48 square feet. If you take the entire world's population and put each person in a 6'x 8' cell of their own, without sharing or stacking them up into multi story cells. Just single cells on a single floor with one for each person in the world. You could fit the entire world population in the state of Maryland.

One statistic I saw when the population was at 7 billion, we were producing enough food to feed 11 billion. The difference was in the waste we discard.
It also stated there was no such thing as 'world hunger' it should be called 'world starvation' when food or lack of it is used as a weapon of war.
We have the resources and ability to feed everyone on earth.
