Gee, just got my new membership letter from Good Sam and I have to cut out a cheap paper membership card. Oh for the good old days when you would get a ral card.

Membership cards are now only the starting point to electronically verify active status. Auto Club been doing this for years. Sometimes not even wanting to see the physical card.

X2, paper items don't last long in my wallet, I've even had some cards destroyed in my wallet.
