Hi all.
Now with baseball back on, I want to take the family to Seattle area as we have done before to catch a game . Looking around Aug 7-14 . We have stayed at the KOA outside of Seattle and research looks like it is closed. We are a family of 4 traveling with a 40 foot toyhauler.
Any recomendations on a nice campground with proximity to the city?
Thanks

That's "Bothell" - a Brothel is something entirely different :-)
I live in the area so have never stayed there, but I've visited friends staying there and it seems nice.

Check out Vasa Park on Lake Sammamish in Bellevue. It's a private park and people have to pay to use, but they have RV parking. Great location.

SIL works in Seattle - Be smart and aware, lots of homeless. Go early and park in large structure across from the park, best to not park blocks away, ditto for other downtown areas. Do not leave anything visible in the car even a sweater, do not park and put anything in the trunk - they are watching. Areas near tourist areas can be better.

I live there. Both of those parks are great and are the best choices (IMO) in the area. Vasa can be hard to get a spot in because it's popular and and only has a few spaces. Lk. pleasant is also very nice and is within walking distance to restaurants and there is a Safeway with easy to maneuver gas/diesel pumps across the street.

Several years ago we stayed at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. We've been told it can be problematic concerning homeless, but we never had an issue - we spent a couple of weeks there, and it seemed to be used as a meeting spot for RVers taking cruises from Seattle.
