I’m a couple of steps away from buying a small trailer. I like what I have seen of the T@b 320 and 400, but they are pricey, new or used. Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar type? I want small, preferably narrow and light. I have looked around at several brands, but nothing has jumped out at me. I’m just wondering if I have overlooked anything.

In an era when the build quality of the average RV is pretty bad, all of these brands are well above par.
Scamp is another brand of small trailers with an avid following, although perhaps a tad lower on the quality scale.
Personally, I own a 2021 Casita, and absolutely love it - No complaints about the build quality or buying experience whatsoever.

The Casita is very appealing, but they are few and far between. Wait times for orders are very long. I have some friends who lucked into an older one. If I decide to go that route, I’ll have to be quick and probably ready to travel to get to a used one.

The Ember brand might be worth looking at. I have looked at a couple of them and they are geared towards boondockers if that interests you. They seemed to be higher build quality compared to most. I didn't look them over closely, but the floors aren't "squishy" in them. They are in most, and for me that's an instant no.
I don't think they would be lightweight though.

Check out the Classifieds section at FiberglassRV - Used models come up for sale occasionally there.
One caution: Before buying a used model, be absolutely certain to verify that the current owner has a valid title for it!
In many states, RVs under 4000 lbs. GVW don't require a title to sell - which makes Casitas and Scamps very attractive targets for thieves: They're much easier to sell to unsuspecting buyers.
Don't accept any excuses from the owner for not having the title!

^One trait that all the decent-quality brands seem to share: They're all owned by relatively small, "mom-and-pop" companies.
None of them are owned by any of the big, profit-driven RV conglomerates.
