the recalls are the least of the problems. Chip shortages anf o?her supply issues are going to screw up production and sales for a long time.
I got a recall notice a couple years ago for an air bag iossue. Got a letter two months ago to call the dealer and set up an appointment.
Was told they will call me when the parts come in. I asked "How long" Answer "Who knows"?

That is a **** fast response and recall by FORD! 28 warranty claims, one complaint to Ford, and one to NHTSA!

My F150 forum has talked about IBC in the eight months I have owned it. It is more or less an acknowledge issue. And now I have a recall to fix the programming in it. recalls and not bad. Problems that are not addressed a timely manner are an issue.

Our friends have a brand new F450 Class C 4x4 diesel that has been recalled for two issues. One was a sprag clutch in the transmission.

If they paid more attention to 'making them right' in the design studios and on the assembly line, there would be far fewer recalls to "make things right" after the retail buyer takes possession of the vehicle. I have no problem with having a recall on my truck or car, growing up in the 60s and 70s you never heard of a Vehicle recall.
