Fuses are commonly located adjacent to the battery disconnects. Operating the battery disconnect by helper while you listen for disconnect operation helps in locating it.
Did you test the fuses or just look at them?

Just curious. I TOLD everyone how to do an easy test for the fuse. Takes 30 seconds. Did you do that? Doug

This post was very helpful for me.

On a trip to Florida my stairs became erratic, opening and closing as we drove. I pulled the plug and wire tied the stairs up. I replaced the motor once I got to my destination. We stayed for 6 weeks assuming everything was cool, it wasn’t. As we rolled down the road the same thing happened. I pulled the plug and wire tied the stairs again, the motor was hot.
Someone pointed out that it maybe the magnetic sensor.

My apologies for not adding your quote to this post.

When you find the 20 amp fuse. Install a Auto Reset 20 amp 12 volt circuit breaker. Then you do not have to worry about a fuse blowing, unless you have a direct short, which will cause the CB to not reset. Doug

How are you checking for Power? Test light or Multimeter?
RED should have 12 volts
Yellow 12 volts when engine running
White 12 volts when switch is on
Brown is a ground from door magnetic switch

Motor CANNOT cause a Power problem.
Last, the Odds of losing 12 volts on all 3 (Red/yellow/White) at the same time is statically extreme. They each have their own fuse supply(3 fuses). Doug

Have you verified the two ground connections at the step?
Did you locate the fuses at or near the battery control center?
