We will be camping soon and afraid that we maybe in the same boat as last year in dealing w/ these pesky critters. 1st time in same spot after many year w/o them CG said the "talked/mentioned" this to their grounds crew, but who knows. They were all over the RV and truck and even crawling up chairs coming down their little "strings" from the branches above. Tho I've asked the office if any cancellations in another section, all they say is "n', and we don't have a waiting list, so keep calling back". UGH!!!
Any recommendations as to what to do if we cannot get another site?

Seems like a minor inconvenience. I don't think you have many options outside of either dealing with it or going somewhere else or going at another time. Spraying a bunch of harmful pesticides won't do much for them. Likely more harmful to you.

Gypsy Moths are cyclical - one year they may be there and the next year or five years they may not. We’ve seen them practically defoliate much of an area to the point where the trees look dead and the next couple of years the area is green and lovely. I guess you just pay your money and take your chances…
