Any using Discoverer AT3 XLT Tires? I was looking at Michelin LTX but they have a lot of bad reviews at the 20K to 30K point. Mainly vanishing sipes and the tread peeling off. The Coopers get good reviews from what I can see.
We just bought a used RAM 2500 and is has Sailuns of all things, mostly worn out too.
We are 90% on the road and 10% off road pulling an 8K TT. The XLT are supposed designed for HD trucks

Secondly, I want to replace the truck batteries. Just as a preventive, I have no idea how old they are but they don't look new. Any batteries better than others? Or just what the auto parts place has?

We finally are going to get on the road again, God willing. After a lot series of problems since November. A quick run around the Southeast, maybe to Natchez Trace. Back here for appointments in early June then off to the Escapade in TN. Them maybe to the Yupper and the north country in July.

Auto batteries are made by just a couple of companies and then labeled with different brands so it really doesn't matter. Just make sure it has the right specs.

I've had good luck with Cooper tires but no experience with that specific model. I have a pretty low opinion of Michelins so I'd be inclined to take the Coopers over them for sure. Best tire I've ever personally run is the Falken Wildpeak AT3W so I'd recommend checking them out. They perform a lot like a BFG AT KO2 including on snow (both are mountain snowflake rated), but they wear far better and last longer.

I second Falken tires - we have Falken on our SUV. Great reviews, great Consumer Report testing results as well.

I've had my share of coopers thru the years, can't think of a better brand.

My son's are running these, they like them. I'm wishing I would have got them over the GY duratrac I ended up with....I've not had any issues with them. They are a bit noisier. For general driving use, one does not need an agressive tire like the duratrac.

I've heard the sailun lt tires are better than one thinks they would be.

Batteries as noted, are made by 3-5 manufactures here in NA. Choose poison by where you can get warrenty easy enough etc.

You’ll have no complaints with cooper AT3s.
Had one set on a F250. Quiet, smooth, good in the snow and long life, although a lot of the miles were on snow and they weren’t packing the weight of a diesel. But I’d buy them confidently as great all around AT tires.

Just put on Michelin Agilis CrossClimate on my 2019 Ram dually. Fixing to hit the road for about a 10,000 mile trip. Guess we'll see how they hold up.
