IF you are a member or have a friend who is I would buy the batteries at Costco. In San Diego Costco beats Autozone by at least $50 per battery.

They also supply batteries to NAPA, West Marine among other house branded batteries. They've been a bit short supplied for a year or so due to Covid restrictions at the plant in Pennsylvania.

Batteries have a build date clearly marked on them, often a punched hole type, for warranty purposes. Look closely, then decide.
IMHO, if you have any questionable battery symptoms, change it. Otherwise, wait. Most batteries, in average temperature conditions, last 5 years but many go 7 years, IME.

I have Cooper HT3s on my pickup and with 10k miles on them I am very happy. Much happier than the Goodyear Duratracs I previously had on it. They seem to be wearing much better.
I did use Falken Wild Peaks on my previous pickup and didn't mind them at all either.

Batteries? Good call. A 4 year old Florida vehicle battery is on borrowed time, generally. Due to the heat. And your truck is sensitive to proper voltage.
I’ve been looking for replacements for my 2016. They’re getting a little slow and are original.
Generally OEM batteries (mopar, Delco, motorcraft) are good. Just saw Amazon has 850cca Delco AGM 94R batteries for $166. Seriously considering those.
Otherwise, Exide from Home Depot is a great value on the low end of the scale.
And if you want the best, get Odyssey AGM.

Costcos are mighty rare in Florida. One in Tampa about 2 hours away from here.
Thanks for all the replies. I went ahead and bought the Coopers at Discount tire. With their tire guarantee and taxes is was $1500+ for four, geez....
I'm impressed with the tires, very deep treads. Half an inch IIRC. I just could not find much info on the Falkens and they are even more expensive locally.

Goodyear now owns Cooper Tire.
As far as Michelin LTX tires, I would find something else. I have run numerous sets of them on 3/4 ton trucks and only get 35K out of them, at the most. Discount usually gives me credit on other tires to purchase but no more Michelin for me. Will look at Cooper or BFG.

The orig batts in my truck tho good still on juice, the gasses leaking out of the one was getting to be a PITA......not to mention being made in '16. So last year at a local battery place (not big brand/name place....just a local owned one) and bought 2 "2nds" for about 1/2 the price as "1sts" and have same wty. Got them last fall and no probs so far.

I am replacing my Ram's tires this week. I found a reasonable price on some Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure tires from my local Goodyear dealer. $260/tire plus installation, $75 instant rebate and up to $150 rebate if I use a Goodyear credit card. That brings my total down to $231/tire installed.
I am replacing some Nitto Dure Grapplers that have 5 years and approximately 50K miles on them. I still have tread left, but I think one of the belts in a tire broke, I have a huge bulge in the tire and a bad shake in the tire. Other than that, the Nittos were pretty good tires for me.
Bought my most recent batteries at Walmart, mainly because they were the only place with 2 batteries in stock! Original batteries lasted almost 7 years, so I was pretty happy with them.
