I purchased my 2021 Jayco MVP Class C brand new last year. From the very beginning I have had nothing but problems with the refrigerator. Without going into lengthy details about it not cooling properly or quitting while in the middle of a camping trip my dealer has had it for several months and they say it is working fine for them. I have asked them to turn the A/Cs on to recreate an actual camping trip. (They can't fix it if they don't see the problem.)

While on my 4-month road trip last year, I purchased an apartment size refrigerator to keep my food cold or frozen as the Norcold proved itself to be unreliable - either on shore power or on propane. A few months ago, I could not get it to cool down enough prior to my trip. Once plugged into shore power, it finally got to proper temperature, but after 24 hours it quit working.

I have asked Jayco to PLEASE replace the unit with a new one. I am heading out for another trip soon and do not want to use an apartment size fridge again! They say they can't do this for me.

Has anyone else had problems with their Norcold refrigerator? If so, how did you get the situation resolved?

Is your fridge in a slideout?

I see you're in Florida. Are they testing it inside an air conditioned shop? Have them put it outside with the fridge on the south side.

If it is in a slide, be sure the outside fan(s) works.

Make sure your frig is level!

Today, Norcold recommends that their refrigerators operate within 3 degrees off level side-to-side and 6 degrees off level front-to-back.

Today is my personal best for most consecutive days alive.

Contact Norcold direct and get them to authorize the replacement.
