My Mammoth is 6000 lbs when filled and loaded. If you do not plan to tow anything with tongue weight, you will be fine. If you tow a heavy trailer behind your camper, you will be pushing rear axle limits.

Don't look at GVWR. Look at the individual axle ratings and weights.
Your truck should have a 6000lb+ payload rating that way.
Yes, you will be over GVWR, but as long as you don't exceed axle or even more importantly, tire ratings, you will be safe.
Add suspension enhancements as you find necessary.
Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

It is 1000% fine and if you want to know the “real” payload, do some reading. This topic comes up every other day on here (figuratively).

Add 1000 to 1500 pounds to any published or sticker weight you can find and you'll be in the ballpark of what a scale will tell you it weighs.

4240 is the "dry weight" listed on the placard.
"Full fuel and water" meaning the camper is loaded and ready to camp, not "dry." So it's heavier.
Truck's not 4500lbs empty. Maybe 3500. Camper is around 5200 loaded and ready to camp.

I usually do. Don't always agree with it.
For those that question the contributor's reason for posting his weight, it is to demonstrate that these campers can come out significantly heavier than factory advertised weight.
Ultimately the OP is fine. What he is doing is something commonly done. Might need some suspension helpers to make it not look so saggy, but otherwise, load up and hit the road.
