I think they all ventured over to be with their own kind hob-knobbing with SmokyWren on irv2.com

Ha! Never heard of that forum til now!
Took a quick stroll over there. Seen a couple familiar whiners from other forums (there's one dude who basically refuses to drive his newer Ram diesel because he's convinced it's going to die on him so he keeps it covered in the backyard like 9mo a year because he's so paranoid....)

And with a couple notable thread titles like "Sewer smells outside camper, only when dumping." and "Gym conversion" in the toyhauler section, it looks like fun!
Headed over to sign up!

Thank you 12V! That place is like rvnet on steriods, when it comes to "I can't tie my own shoes, can you help me?" posts.

First forum, first page.
"Eliminate hot water?" "I am re-plumbing my camper and thinking about doing away with the hot water. I don't like cold water and do like hot showers. Opinions?"

I'm seriouscan't make this stuff up!

Grit

I'll give you 2 months before you get a ban stick of deorerant! Or any other number of muderator tools at their disposal.....

Yeah, should be an oder or two dumping.

In some of the sailing forums I look at, getting banned from one particular forum is a badge of honor! IRV2 would be one for rving IMHO!

I was literally shocked how I was treated over there. Especially the lame excuse I violated their no sale rules. It was clear to anyone who had half a brain tied behind their back I was not selling anything. Oh well at least here we can do a little ribbing and not get sent to time out.

Grit you will have a blast there. Please let us know how long it takes to get your first timeout.

IRV2 is owned by a company named Social Knowledge LLC. They own and operate a bunch of forums and they all have one thing in common. Moderators that operate in cliques where the job has went to their head who work for free, while Social Knowledge rakes in the cash from the overbearing advertising and clickbait.

Forest River Forum is another one of their rags and its full of uppity idiots who own Forest River junk, but defend that garbage to the point of it seeming like a cult. I know of someone who was banned for life for making a racist comment. He said Amish craftsmanship is a joke and one of the moronic moderators deemed that to be a racist comment.

Grit,
If you use current handle, you'll see a few current posters from both places. Looking thru there last night, I saw one that I havnt seen here for a few years. Was afraid he'd literally died. He's still giving out semi incorrect info. Altho he is finally realizing 15 series trucks can pull a trailer.
If I could find the post from 10-15 yrs ago of him going east up 228th by Kenmore gun club, now defunct Fruhling pit in south Snohomish count....a bit over 20%, poor guy thought he was climbing Mt Rainier! Going west is worst than going east like did. East is abit longer, in my IHC loaded I can do east in 2nd at 25k lbs or so, I'm in 2bd to start, as road gets steeper, I'm in first, las free hundred feet I've been on low, which is 10.05-1 when in the 26-28k relm pulling out of canyon park.
People think 5% freeway grades are steep! Lol

Instead of that game " Name That Tune" - " I can name that tune in 5 words"... Rename it - " I can tossed off a forum" - I can get tossed in 2 threads ! !

Come on Guys, we all know that these "Can I tow this or that with what ever" don't want actual honest answers. They're only looking for that answer that says "I've been doing it for X number of years". Once they have that answer there're gone happily on there way, regardless of all the negative truth full answers.
