With fuel approaching $5.00 per gallon national average and predicted to keep climbing, watch this accelerate like a runaway train. Of course they still sugarcoat it, which is to be expected coming from the RV Industry's propaganda publication.

I believe gas prices plus the lack of any more COVID buyers are both major contributing factors.

Did anyone really think that many people were going to continue buying RV’s after Covid? Then add in the gas prices, Well, we all knew what was going to happen!

plus the used units on the market after the covid buyers found that RV'ing is a lot of work and maintenance and were dismayed at the difficulty in getting a campsite if you don't reserve a year in advance

Sure sales are down, covid produced a wave of buyers but we all knew that wouldn't last. Now that the covid rush has passed the high cost of fuel has the opposite effect of suppressing sales.
Interesting to see where the numbers end up if fuel prices remain high.

IMO Whenever people have a need to choose the truth, and there's too many of them who do NOT choose wisely,,........??? All you need to realize is ",,,,,,and divided we fall".

Any jump in interest rates will also add to this.

If you're in the market this fall should be interesting, I'm already seeing rigs for sale that have not even been used yet here in Ontario.

"approaching $5/gallon..." Ha, ha... I'd jump all over 'only' $5 gas!

At least for the gas I get.. I use 92 octane for the F150 and it's got a 36 gallon tank.

When the pump shuts off at $100 and that's really only 1/2 tank, that's where it is and what it costs these days..

I ain't cancelling any planned trips this year, but I have started driving my Mom's 2014 Ford Escape for the daily grind! F150 has not left the garage for over 2 weeks now!

Wait until it gets to $10/gallon... ha, ha!
