Yes, I wish I could access our bed and salon without slides. No problem with bathroom. But everything else requires a slide.

I leave it hitched up if just stopping for some shuteye.
I can access half the fridge and the bed without opening the slides.

I tend to just stay hitched for an overnight. Have even stayed hitched on a two night stay as I was on an excursion and did not need the truck for the day with an early rollout the next day.
Have also overnighted in a full hookup campground without unhitching and no utility connections. I feel no obligation to do unnecessary work.

Leave it connected to the 5th wheel hitch but disconnect the 7 pin cord. I drop jacks as needed to stabilize or level.

Always unhooked when staying a campground. I stayed one night only (ever!) in a WalMart. I still unhooked and left truck about 6" forward from trailer hitch. Just felt if I needed the truck for an emergency or to get away, I could go.

if I can level with out unhoking I do, other wise I unhook and only pull 1 foot ahead.
