Today I was returning from North Carolina (in my car) and saw what I thought was a Prevost. As I got closer I saw it was a 45' passenger bus with a tag, and it said - Volvo 9700. Wow, I had not seen one badged that way before. I know Volvo owns Prevost (at least I think I know) but does anyone have any insight into what I saw? Is Volvo rebadging Prevosts?

I also saw one a few weeks back and looking at Provost web site they now list what we both saw and provost also.

I know there are some MCI conversions but what about Vanhool, Temsa, and even some smaller ones? Is Prevost the standard because it's the best, cheapest, easiest to convert?
