Um, no. It has zero to do with capitalism and everything to do with socialist and all the free money being thrown around. You simply cannot print your way out of poor economic policy.

They're seeing it first hand every time they walk into the grocery store or drive into a gas station.

The problem with this theory is that inflation is a world wide issue/problem and:
- very few countries (if not ONLY the US) provided stimulus to their economy
- less stimulus was spent during covid then +8-12yrs ago bailing out different industries
Unchecked and unregulated greed+profit cuts across all markets the world over.

Not true, but believe what you want.
There is no explicit tie between all of the different countries. Sure, they can all make the same mistakes or not.
Fwiw, the dollar is doing "well" vs the "Euro" right now. There would be no difference if inflation was the same for the "world".
That doesn't mean we can't do better.

All I know is we were well on our way to energy independence with the pipeline scheduled to come online within a few years in early 2020, prior to the absolute insanity that took place.
I'm supposed to believe those same people who created this mess? No thanks.

I am letting this thread run, but you guys need to back off the politics and keep the economics focus if you want it to continue. I understand the two intertwine, but management does not want politics on this forum.

The market and prices will do what they do. Go up, go down, As it is now, it has been before. Where it ends up, it has been before. That's economics. I have an older truck and camper. Save The Money! Both serve me very well. Looking forward to another 3 months on the road soon in my faithful, paid off Truck and Camper. Truck Camper Rally in Quartzite February for one. See some of you there!

Got a source for this?
I know European countries were spending like mad. Even Thailand was paying for locals to stay at the hotels to keep them afloat.
Everyone was throwing money around like mad.
Yes, we are likely to see the RV market take a big dive. Tricky part is trying to time it.
