I suggest you go to Facebook and join the Bluetti community...You can see what they are saying about those units your looking at..They have huge discounts sometimes and giveaways..

Good luck

If I felt I needed to have backup power, I'd spend the money on Lithium batteries installed in the trailer, and solar cells. A whole big bunch cheaper than one of those things. Those are just big battery backups, with built-in inverter, which will have to be recharged somehow.

AGREED ! Those pre-packaged systems are vastly OVERPRICED!

Find Will Prowse's channel on YouTube. Be has dozens of video DIY equivalents at a fraction of the price. No, they are not as "pretty", but they function just as well !

Remember your post title…power stations don’t “generate” anything. It’s a trick marketing word.

Boy am I glad someone said this !

If you boondock with minimal power consumption, they will work...of course, you probably won't need one anyway.

If you want to run air/con, you need a real generator not a battery labeled "generator"

More batteries is cheaper…even Lithium batteries. Power stations are just fancy batteries and they too must be recharged in some way. One of the models is priced at $4500 for 3600 watt hours!

Yeah, you can buy 5kWh from EG4 for $1,500. Why you'd buy such overpriced batteries I have no idea.

US canada exchange reate is 1.30 just now so $4500 CA is about 3500 US not 1/4 but over 3/4.

The problem with any battery pack system is unless you have a way to recharge they run down. now 3,000 worth of LiFePO4 is gonna take a day or 3 to run down (or more) but it's still gonna run down.

Solar is the way to go.

Sounds like a good use for a fuel cell... if they had commercially available ones for RVs.

There are commercially available fuel cells...they are just crazy expensive and use special fuel that makes running a generator look silly cheap.

You get a 600 watt solar system for approx $600 US. Add in $400 for batteries. That works out to $1000
