Like stated above, define "BEST" Hitch . . . . It's like arguing Ford/Ram/Chebby.... Or 6.7/gasser.

On That note-
I am a proud member of the B&W Fan Club... My opinion is that they are Rock Solid with the wrap around jaws.. I did a lot of research before buying, watched a video or 2 of how they were made, I was sold.

There were some a couple years back, but it has been redesigned, again, and I've read of no failures recently. But if I needed a really lightweight hitch, I'd stick to using it on lighter 5th wheels, less than 12,000 lbs. But JMO>

We traded in our Hensley for the TrailerSaver BD3 in 2010 and have never looked back. Great hitch. Comes apart for easy lifting and maintenance. A great, fool-proof hitch. Eight O'clock position to hitch, once hitched, it's in the Nine o'clock position and locked. Yes, the name says it all!

@ ford truck guy...that 3300 is a great looking hitch, clean polished look! You could eat off from that! I think these should be the new poster board pictures of the fan club, replacing the former 3600 used for previous promotion example.

No offense meant to 12V! [emoticon]

To the OP...the 3700 version for GM puck equipped trucks, is very similar to one pictured.

The Hensley Trailer Saver BD-5 was recommended by someone on this forum (thanks to whoever it was). We bought it and couldn't be happier.
But like other posters have said, I'm sure there are a lot of great hitches out there.

The BD3 and BD5 are both air ride hitches and come apart for easy removal. BD3 is rail or underbed mounted, and BD5 is underbed or puck system.

BD3 is an 18k gross trailer weight and 3500lb pin weight.
BD5 is a 28k gross trailer weight and a 5k pin weight.

Do yourself a favor and go look at the images on Amazon for the Anderson hitch. I really wanted one due to the weight and that we have both a 5th wheel and gooseneck trailer. I mentioned this to my wife, she went to Amazon, showed me the pictures, said she would never ride in the truck if I used that hitch.

That said, we do have friends that have a trailer larger than ours, they have one and love it. They also tow more than we do. Anyway, I guess its great, until it isn't...

I like my B&W Companion...

Ya, what I was thinking, but Ron's hitch is THE CLUB promotion hitch... and...I always avoid hurting anyone's feelings, especially my forum friends! The 3600 it is!
