Seems I mentioned loosing control, think that would cancel your thoughts above. But you read into it what ever suites your needs.
Yes I read into it that if the wheel was round, control could have been maintained and the wall could have been saved.
Otherwise why mention the wheel?

I could totally see that being the case. Pursuant to my post above, you, me, the Tesla driver and literally everyone else have been conditioned and trained since we were toddlers and continue to be that there is a wheel to grab onto where a steering wheel should be.

Same principle, why do you think hydro assist steering is illegal (push pull cylinder like on off road rigs)? Because it does not follow established standards.

9 pages now and still no one except Reisender who is singing the praises of EV towing and no one even has an EV truck or tow rig.
My point was clearly made….

Can we go back to talking about fender flares please? At least that had something to do with tow vehicles.

I have a reservation for a Silverado EV WT. I will use it to tow hay wagons between the barn and the field. I might even put a solar panel on it, as I only haul hay when it is nice out.

Found this about battery replacement. Doesn't say anything about what happens to the worn-out battery. Something to think about as well as cost to replace one.

Tesla bateries have 8 year 150.000 miles warranty

And Used batts can be recycled or reused for other projects such as power storage or iCe to EV car truck conversion
