I'm wondering if any of you men can recommend a good hair dressing. I've always had a good head of hair, and even now, at 78 yrs old, I still have pretty good hair, although I'm noticing some slight hair loss lately. Right now, I have a tube of Brylcreem, which I've used 'till now, but it just has a greasy feel to it and I don't think it holds that well. I remember using Brylcreem in the past and it was somewhat more satisfactory then (I was a lot younger, and perhaps had thicker hair).
So, if you have good hair now, can you give me a suggestion as to what you've found works best for you? Thanks. Mr. Ed

Haven't touched it in 60 yrs but I do remember using it.

Odds & Ends Carpet Warehouse. The less hair there is, less time in the barber chair. The only difference I noticed, I have to wear a hat on the bright sunny days from overheating the computer and something warm in the winter
to keep the computer running.

Yeah, I guess being bald has its benefits (especially here in the TX panhandle, where it can get quite windy). I used plain water today after shampooing out any Brylcreem remnants. My hair stayed in place pretty well, but I'll be concerned about those windy days.
I remember the Brylcreem commercial from many years ago:
"Brylcreem, a little dab will do ya, Brylcreem, you'll look so debonair, Brylcreem, the gals will all pursue ya, they love to get their fingers in your hair." A potential real answer. LOL
I use a product from American Crew, Firm Hold Styling Gel. It is normally available at CVS or can be ordered from Amazon for around $15. You use a very small amount of it by putting a dab on your hands, rubbing your hands together, and applying it to your hair when wet. Adjust to your own taste. When your hair drys it will have some holding power and if your hair is longer and heavier, you can add just a little hair spray.
