You have to know where they are.

IN my case all my bookmarks are shared across about half a dozen computers (Windows, Two Chrome books. two tablets and my phone all share bookmarks) so they are well backed.

Photos are backed up on the device I'm holding. it fits both my phone and my Windows box

That depends on what Web Browser you use. They will be stored in different locations depending on what Browser you use.

It might be easier to just Export your Bookmarks from your browser, then you can import them into your next computer.

Just Google "where are my bookmarks stored for INSERT YOUR BROWSER HERE".
