Hi All,
Hoping I can get some furnace help. With searching I had no luck.... When I run my furnace I get stinky dark smoke. Here's the weird part. I pulled it out and bought the proper connectors and hooked it up to my car and a propane tank and it ran fine. My fridge and stove work well. Do I have an issue with my propane regulator on my RV though? I don't understand why the furnace runs dirty in the RV.

Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!!

Would this be caused by air fuel mixture?

could be a blocked fresh air intake. clean the intake and exhaust pipes. just a though.

I would check the regulator output for 11" WC.

Maybe, but it runs fine outside the RV.

I've cleaned everything, intake and exhaust so I think I have that area covered. Thanks for the ideas though.

OR a rusted/damaged burner or perhaps a mud dubber has set up housekeeping.

Either will disrupt the fuel/air mixture, same as improper propane pressure.
