We're talking iCloud without knowing if you even use it.
Follow These Instructions to see if you even have your iCloud turned on.
If it is, Click Here and scroll down to the section "On your Mac or PC". Follow those instructions on your PC to see if you can download pics from your iCloud to your PC.
Again, I'm iIgnorant. I'm just reading stuff trying to determine why you can't use the RV.net photo posting app. For me it quite easy.

The Photos app is part of Win10.
It does say Photos will not transfer from the iCloud

Does this mean that IMGUR does not use the icloud? This means the Photos app on her laptop can't transfer photos from her iCloud account. It only transfers photos that are stored on her iPhone,

I'm getting more confused. Therefore, I need to ask all of you....: Will it solve my immediate problem if I were to succeed in installing IMGUR into my desktop Dell windows-10 computer, THEN transfer photos from a digital camera into this IMGUR, ....THEN post photos from this IMGUR into this RV.NET forum?

Member 2112 has given some good info! I can wear many hats, but computer GEEK is not one that fits! I quoted CD above, to show the obvious (to me) reason the RV net app does not work. You have to have a folder (with pics) on your computer, that the forum app will access.
I think your easiest photo posting option, is to just get the pics from your phone to your desk top. Once you have pics there, and hit select on the forum photo post app, it will take you to the pic folder, and you just click the one you want. It will load, give a URL to copy and paste into your post.

Thanks MFL. So now, I'm starting to think in terms of comparing my old system to what you are telling me. In my old (obsolete?) system, my operating system had MY PICTURES(a "folder", or app,...)? My KodaK digital camera came with a "driver" which I installed in my desktop computer. This set-up enabled me to transfer photos from camera to "my pictures). Then, I subscribed to PHOTOBUCKET. It was easy to transfer photos from MY PICTURES to PHOTOBUCKET. It was easy and quick to select a photo from photobucket and insert it into a posting in RV.NET.
SO, where do I find a MY PICTURES and where do I find a substitude for photobucket?

It is easiest to bookmark the rvnet photo posting site on your computer. Now when you make a post on the forum, want to add picture, start a new tab, go to bookmarks, click rvnet photo posting, click select, takes you to pic folder, choose, click pic, automatically takes you back to photo posting, shows pic selected, with URL to copy. Copy and now click rv,net original tab at top, takes you back to your written post. Click below your written message, now paste your pic that was selected.

You don't "install" IMGUR, it's a hosting website, like Photobucket.

This is by Jack Lloyd, in the wikiHow website:
This wikiHow teaches you how to upload photos from your computer or phone to popular social media and image-sharing sites. These include image-sharing services Flickr and Imgur, social media services Facebook and Instagram, and cloud storage services Google Drive and iCloud.

Since the tech moderator is using IMGUR, members here, only need to use the forum pic posting site.

The Photo Posting app is using an approved API developed by IMGUR.com. Unlike other free photo hosting sites, IMGUR presently does not delete photos. So your older posts won't get the photo/image not found as time goes on.
You can create an account on IMGUR to host your photos, though involves more steps in order to post your photos to the forums. You also need to make sure your photos do not exceed forum's photo posting dimensions. The app does all this for you with essentially one step.
This is a Signature test on RV.net forum portal.

I stand corrected, therefore I will ask if it will solve my immediate problem if I were to succeed in incorporating IMGUR into my plan,....using my computer etc,etc ?
