I mounted mine on the window above the overhead cab bed since it was having too many issues not reading on the front windshield. Obviously know that most newer units do NOT (thankfully) have the bedroom window leak-monster, but mine ain't leaking yet and check it quite often.

I was told by PA EzPass folk to mount it bottom-center of the windshield. Did so, and it's worked fine.

Thanks! I think that's what I will need to do, too, since my overhang has an "overhang" (dropped area along the front lower edge)

I had a lot of trouble with my windshield mount, behind the mirror, BUT, only in NY on the Thruway, sometimes it would read it getting on, but not off, other times it would read getting off, but Not getting on, went with license plate mount, and haven't had another problem.
