There was a guy and his grandson who’d fire up the campfire songs each night. You know, really offensive stuff like old country and western songs….in rural Montana. Guy was loud and but he could sing. Ida swore he had a mic and a PA. (He didn’t. Guy was just an awesome singer and guitarist)
Well the second day a couple Karen’s and Kevin’s complained to the camp host about the noise after quiet hours. (We’re talking like 10-11pm mid summer not 2 am)
Camp host and wife were cool folks. He stopped by in the afternoon and asked me to help him get the word out about the concert tonight.
So invited the whole campground to the guys campsite that night…except the Karens.
Got pretty drunk w the camp host too…good times! This story comes as no surprise.

You know what?? Send all the jerks to camp by me. After a health scare with Hubby and seeing my camping days potentially coming to an end - I'm so stinkin' happy to be back camping, even in crammed-in-parking spaces - that I can tolerate ANYTHING. Our new little Class C is cute as a button and keeps things comfy for Ed, so I'm grateful for getting a chance to be on the road again.

Why? Maybe it makes you feel better, Ranting often does.
But complaining on this forum about what is going on at your RV park does nothing to solve the problem.
This is an RV / Camping "forum". In Forums, we discuss stuff.
If you don't like the discussion, don't complain about it.

I'll cut to the chase.
The only way to avoid the issues mentioned is to camp alone.
If you are camping around others you will have to tolerate some behavior you don't like.
Such as opening or closing the RV door or using the factory installed lights.
If you let these minor annoyances ruin your camping experience shame on you.....and yes as already mentioned in the opening post, the OP sounds like an old grouch,
